ABRASIVE LININGS

Abrasive linings (also called abrasive coatings) are materials coated with abrasives. We manufacture abrasive linings as all-ceramic or as a coating with epoxy resins and aluminium oxide. They are frequently used on plastics and aluminium for non-slip surfaces and to increase abrasion.

PRACTICAL EXPERIENCE: ABRASION-RESISTANT GUIDING ROLLERS FOR BELT-GRINDING MACHINES INCREASE SERVICE LIFE

One example are guiding rollers (also belt guide rollers, deflection rollers) for belt-grinding machines. If pure metal rollers are used here and the abrasive belt with its abrasive side is guided over this deflection roller, the belt guide roller will wear out strongly and run in. With our coated, abrasion-resistant strip guide rollers you achieve a multiple service life due to our abrasive coating.
