GRINDING SEGMENTS
Grinding segments are mainly used in coarse grit for surface grinding. The grinding segments are clamped or glued onto the front side of a plate to form an interrupted ring. Due to the interrupted contact surfaces and the air gaps, our highly porous segments achieve cool grinding at high stock removal rates.
For the production of grinding segments, we have a wide variety of press forms available (e.g. straight, trapezoidal, curved). We also supply the grinding segments fully bonded to metal holders on request.
